Veggie Burger Recipe with Cauliflower

This easy vegan veggie burger recipe contains only 3 ingredients for the patty and two for the sauce. Plus it's vegan, gluten free, dairy free and guilt free!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cauliflower (cut into florets and roasted for 20 minutes)
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) uncooked lentils or 1 14 oz (400 g) can lentils
  • 1 cup bread crumbs (gf)
  • 1 Tbs tahini sauce (optional)
  • Curry powder to taste
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

FOR THE TAHINI SAUCE:

  • 3 Tbs Maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
  • 2 Tbs tahini paste

Method

FOR THE TAHINI SAUCE:
In a small bowl, whisk together tahini, maple, and water.

TO MAKE THE PATTIES:

  • Preheat oven to 200Β°C. If you use uncooked lentils, cook them according to the instructions. Let cool.
  • Wash the cauliflower and cut into florets. Put on a baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  • When cold, transfer to a blender, add remaining ingredients. Process until you get a chunky mixture.
  • Form patties and either fry or bake them.
